Officials stated that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Several of the people injured in the strikes on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.
